Foucault & Ha Jin's "Saboteur"

This is an essay that I created in my ENGL 6101 class. The essay uses the philosophies of Michel Foucault to analyze  Ha Jin's use of power dyanmics in his short story "Saboteur." The paper is 18 pages long, with 16 sources.

Telltale's The Walking Dead and  American Culture

This essay analyzes Telltale's video game The Walking Dead using an intersectional lens. The paper covers topics such as racism and sexism by examining elements like characters and plotlines in the video game. The paper is 11 pages long, with 10 sources.

Explication of Galway Kinnell's "Blackberry Eating"

This is an essay that I created in my ENGL 6101 class. The essay is a close reading of Galway Kinnell's poem "Blackberry Eating." The essay does not use any sources outside of the dictionary in order to examine the poem purely based on the language that Galway utilized. The paper is five pages long. The paper is five pages long due to a page restriction.

Analysis of Current Issues Using Scholarly texts: Traditions in Rhetoric

This is an essay I created for my ENGL 5050 class. This essay utilizes various assigned texts in order to show an understanding of the texts, an ability to utilize scholarships in different areas for one purpose, and to apply scholarship to current matters in society. The essay had page restrictions of 3-5 pages. I completed the essay in 5 pages.
